An evergreen perennial, aromatic, long flowering shrub. From the same family as sage & rosemary, lavender’s natural habitat is exposed rocky positions. It is therefore drought tolerant & works well in pots. It is also wonderful mass planted as hedging & will both attract bees as well as release it’s scent when brushed past as you walk by.
